Lauren is 27 and the founder of global wellness industry website Welltodo. Even though Lauren works in the wellness industry, she hadn’t yet thought about checking her breasts for any changes that could lead to breast cancer. After having a thermogram and consultation with Dr Eccles, she feels more equipped in monitoring the health of her breasts and is going to make Thermograms part of her annual check up.
1. How did you come to hear about Thermographic breast scans?
I heard about thermographic breast scans through an industry contact who recommended Dr Eccles as an expert in this field, and a passionate advocate of integrating thermograms into annual health checkups.
2. What was your experience with Dr.Eccles?
I was both surprised and impressed. Since this was an area I was not familiar with, Dr Eccles and his experienced staff explained the entire procedure thoroughly and within the context of more widely recognised procedures for maintaining breast health. It was a painless procedure as well as being very informative.
3. How do you feel about mammograms vs Thermographic breast scan?
I’m now aware of how limited mammograms are, particularly for my demographic. As an advocate of preventative health, it is empowering to know that breast health is something that can be monitored and maintained very easily via regular thermographic scans and professional interpretation of those scans.
4. How did the treatment help your situation?
It was able to rest assured that I have taken appropriate steps to ensure optimal breast health, in addition to my own monitoring!
5. Can you recommend Dr.Eccles for breast scanning to your friends and family?
Yes – without hesitation.
6. What’s one point of advice you could give to people who haven’t yet had a breast scan?
Research and ask questions about what you already know. The medical world changes so quickly, and sometimes what you thought was true has become outdated. It is so important to stay informed in order to be fully empowered regarding your own body and health.
